In Addition, It Invites The Various Promoters And In Particular The Directors, To Take Ownership Of The Provisions Of The New Regulation N ° 01/17 / CEMAC / UMAC / COBAC Of September 27, 2017 Relating To The Conditions Of Exercise And Control Of The Activity Microfinance In CEMAC. The Main Objective Of This Legal Device Is The Promotion Of Better Supervision In Order To Guarantee Greater Stability In The Sector.
To This End, Said Regulation Places Particular Emphasis On Compliance With Prudential Rules, Principles Of Governance And The Proper Functioning Of Corporate Bodies, While Strengthening The System Of Prudential And Non-prudential Supervision Of Microfinance Institutions.
Considering The Contribution Of This Sector To The Financing Of The National Economy And The Improvement Of Financial Inclusion, The Minister Of Finance Attaches Great Importance To Strict Compliance With The Provisions Of This Regulation.
